James W. Klingensmith, CPP
Mr. Klingensmith is the owner of Wink Security & Investigations located in Edgartown, Massachusetts. A former Police Officer that has been working in the private sector for the past 20 years. He runs his own professional practice as a Licensed Private Investigator and Security Consultant. Mr. Klingensmith has trained security personnel across the United States and has spoken internationally on Security specific topics.
Seminars presented by Mr. Klingensmith have included:
Investigating White Collar Crime, Investigating on the Internet, Locating Persons using the Internet, Executive Protection—Advance Planning, Understanding Identity Theft, and several other topics.
His training has included becoming a Board “Certified Protection Professional” (CPP) by the American Society of Industrial Security, A graduate of the Massachusetts State Police Academy, the Executive Security International in Aspen, Colorado and has undergone an Advanced Executive Protection Program, certifying him as a Certified Protection Specialist.
He has also achieved Certified Intelligence Specialist training, Certified International Investigator from the council of International Investigators where he served as a member of the Board of Directors for three years.
Mr. Klingensmith has provided protection for such clients as the late King Hussein of Jordan, many celebrities, CEO’s and their families, and he has worked with the US Secret Service in 1997 and 1998 for protection of the former President William Clinton and with the White House Communications Agency providing assistance in 2009 during President Obama’s first vacation on Martha’s Vineyard.
